The company was founded in 1969 by the engineer Giuseppe Facchinetti. At that time they started with production of locks, cylinders and padlocks in Pisogne, lake Iseo (north Italy) wherefrom comes the name of the company. Over time Iseo started focusing mostly towards development, design and production of security fittings/ hardware (cylinders and locks for security doors, emergency exit and panic systems etc.), thus becoming one of the leading companies in Europe in this business. An indicator of the abovementioned is the number of 12 million cylinders sold annually and as a proof of quality are all the certificates which the company possesses and are issued by international institutions.
